We have been guiding in New Zealand's highest mountains since 1974, and are proud to continue the tradition of the West Coast Guiding in our skiing. All ski tours are led by guides with enormous local knowledge and experience. The Fox and Franz Josef neve are an amazing ski touring resource. Between them they hold over 15,000 acres of ski able terrain and receive over 60 meters of snowfall annually! Alpine Winter Skills (5 days)
This is designed for the skier/snowboarder who wants to learn some skills for a safe and enjoyable ski tour in the alpine environment in winter conditions. The main aim of this course is to teach you backcountry skills as well as finding the best snow available for some turns. Topics include...

Tailor Made Ski Tours
A tailored trip to suit your individual needs into the high glaciers of this region. We access the mountains by helicopter and base ourselves at Almer, Pioneer or Centennial Huts. The aim of the trip is to find the best snow and to ski as much as possible!
Fitness
These trips involve travelling in back country terrain without ski lifts. Participants must be intermediate to advanced skiers with an above average level of fitness.
